Sentimental Sundays Challenge 10

Happy Tuesday my friends! Today I have a card I put together for a challenge I found out about on Bonnie Rose's blog. The blog is Sentimental Sunday's, and this week the challenge is all about CELEBRATIONS! They have some fun, freebie downloads that you can grab for the challenge too, you can check out all the details here.


I used one of their freebies for my card today, "Celebrate the simple things" with the cute little ice cream cone, and cut it out with the PTI Fillable Frame #4 die. I stamped the border with Raspberry Fizz ink. I created my background for the card using scraps of PTI's June Color Couture digi paper. I've been making a lot of cards with this paper, which means I have lots of scraps left over, so I cut circles from those scraps and layered them on a card base. I topped it all off with some yummy Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon.


I hope you'll take time this summer to "celebrate the simple things". They are, after all, the stuff that life is made of :)
