I received some new 6X6 paper pads in the mail this week, including "it's the little things" from Fancy Pants. The paper in this pad is AWESOME, and destined to be an all time favorite of mine. The image of the little girl with her doll is from a Crafty Secrets paper pad that I won as blog candy.

The crown is a Unity stamp, and I made the flower from PTI satin ribbon and felt. The sentiments are all from Tiny Treats: Birthday.

I'm wanting to say that this is not my typical style of card, but it seems that I don't have a typical style lol! Lately I've really been mixing things up between shabby vintage, clean and simple, whimsical, you name it. There are just so many different styles that I love, and I want to try my hand at them all. I suppose that's OK, and even though I might never be recognized for "my" style, I'll have a whole lot of fun along the way creating as the mood strikes me :)
So many pretty elements to ADORE Diane!!! LOVE it! I so know what you mean by style...I don't think I have one particular one either..love them all too!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the shabby/vintage elements on this card. I love the stitching. It really adds definition to the different layers. I have to say that I love your blog because I love your mix of design and style. I am always so happy to see your work. No style happening on my blog. I just tend to like lots of layers, shabby, and vintage styles. Keep up "all" of the great work.
ReplyDeleteThe little birds on this are so adorable!! The color combo is a great one too! The silk/felt flower is superb!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to love about this card, Diane! But I must start with that knock-out flower! What a beauty! Love the crown you gave the little girl too. And I, for one, don't mind if you ever settle on a particular style. You rock them all and always leave me inspired, so keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a "typical" style card either! It all depends on my mood! I love so many styles, so who says we have to be "boxed" in? {wink} I love your card and this is a very very cool style! Lucky girl on the win and you've put your winnings to EXCELLENT use! Awesome color palette!
