I used Papertrey Ink's Delightful Doily stamps, and a sentiment from Signature Greetings. The background is a piece of cardboard box, cut to the card base size (5X6), with pieces of the top ripped off randomly.

Other than hand cutting the doilies which I did last night while watching TV, this card came together VERY quickly, which I love! I am the Queen of SLOW when it comes to making most cards, and I hate that lol!
Hope you're having a delightful weekend, and please stop back soon :)
Diane it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI would be very inspired by that photo as well...
and you did an amazing job!
Love that cardboard box for the background...
watch out...
you'll see me using that idea ;)
What a clever idea to have a corrugated cardboard background. It really makes the doilies pop off your card!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally perfect Diane! Love that cardboard, makes the doilies pop!
ReplyDeleteFor a minute I thought that cardboard box was one of your big mega stamps! I love this idea. I bet you start seeing a lot of boxes all torn up now as card embellishments. This is a great idea and has so much texture.
ReplyDeleteYou might be the queen of slow, but I'm a very close runner-up!! LOL This is beautiful, and the torn cardboard is fabulous! If you have scraps of that torn cardboard left over, paint it with some white acrylic paint and stamp with it on kraft! It's a great look!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!!!!
